Born and raised an Alberta cowgirl, Rusty is a successful barrel horse trainer, breeder, and competitor. She competes in Canadian futurities and on the Pro Rodeo circuit and helps her husband raise and market their PRCA bucking horses. Rusty is also one of the coaches for the Lakeland College Rodeo Team in Vermilion, Alberta.
