Most of us have had a horse who is either picky or suspicious of new foods. Some are born that way, and for others it’s a learned habit. Figuring out how to successfully add new foods can be challenging, so we have put together a list of things to consider when your horse is being picky, or just when adding new foods.

The lymphatic system in horses is a complex network of vessels, nodes, and organs that work together to help maintain the horse's health and well-being. The primary function of the lymphatic system is to transport and filter lymphatic fluid, a clear fluid that carries white blood cells, nutrients, and waste products, throughout the body, and is critical for maintaining the horse’s immune system and keeping them healthy.

The endocrine system is one of the major regulatory systems in the horse's body, along with the nervous system. It is responsible for producing, releasing, and regulating hormones, which are the chemical messengers that control various body functions. This includes controlling the horse's metabolism, growth and development, reproduction, and response to stress.

Just like in humans and horses, your dog’s gut microbiome plays an important role in his nutrition, energy metabolism, and immunity. Dog’s suffer from gastro-intestinal issues too, and we’ve seen these issues improve in numerous dogs with the introduction of the same all-natural, whole-food, human grade ingredients found in G’s Formula for horses.
